About Our Club

The Philatelic Club of Will County, also sometimes known as the Will County or Joliet Stamp Club, seeks to serve the needs of stamp collectors in the Will County area.  We generally meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month and on the first Tuesday. Our meeting site is Messiah Lutheran Church at 40 South Houbolt Road in Joliet, Illinois.  That is the corner of Jefferson and Houbolt, directly east of the Joliet airport.  If traveling on I-55, exit at US 52/Jefferson Street, and travel east about one mile.  If traveling on I-80, exit at Houbolt Road and travel north two miles.  Programs generally begin at 7PM, but members start gathering as early as 6:30 for informal conversation and stamp trading.  The monthly day-time meeting begins at 1PM.

    Hello,
I have a question. Do you still do stamp shows at the church?
I have a set of The Presidential Metals Cover Collection.
They are in a presentation case and have the vinyl covers on each of the 39 envelopes.
From George Washington to Ronald Reagan. They are covers that have a medal with each of these 39 presidents on with their birthday, postal cancellation on their birthday.
    This was offered in 1983.
I am trying to find a buyer for the collection. It belonged to my brother-in-law who
passed away in August. Just hoping to get back part of what it is worth for my Sister.
Any help of what I might do is appreciated.
    Thank you for your time.
