Philatelic Club of Will County

The next meeting of the Philatelic Club of Will County will be our Christmas party on Thursday, December 12.  We eat promptly at 6PM.  Club will provide the chicken and beverage.  Bring dish to share, perhaps a salad or dessert.  We will also have our annual “gift steal.”  Bring a wrapped, unmarked gift, preferably philatelic in nature.

The Philatelic Club of Will County, also known as the Joliet Stamp Club, meets at Messiah Lutheran Church, 40 S. Houbolt Road, Joliet, IL  60431.  Click on “About Our Club” tab for directions.  We are a group of collectors who typically gather twice a month, on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, to enjoy our hobby together.  If you are a collector, or a potential collector who would like to know more about our hobby, we encourage you to visit us. All meetings begin at 7pm unless otherwise noted, but members begin gathering as early as 6:30 for informal conversation and stamp trading.

The Philatelic Club of Will County is chapter #1508 of the American Philatelic Society The Philatelic Club of Will County is a proud supporter of the William Gross Gallery of the Smithsonian National Postal Museum in Washington, D.C.  and of the American Philatelic Center in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania.

Our next annual show will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 (10am-4pm) in the beautiful and spacious Family Life Center at Messiah Lutheran Church.  There will be exhibits, dealers, a free evaluation of collections, and of course meal service by the youth of Messiah Church.  Come join us.
